Untitled (mindscape)
This project explores the fading and distorted nature of identity and memory, drawing on personal fragments from past through childhood and later adolescence movies I hold dear. Frames from these films were printed on clear acetate and projected onto film stock, creating layers of distortion that reflect the blurred, fragile memories of a life left behind. The centerpiece—a head sculpture with a projector in its eye—stares at these visions of the past, a creature fixated on icons and symbols that once offered comfort but now feel distant and unrecognizable. Clinging to an idealized idea in fear of an uncertain future.
